Door County isn’t just a place ... it’s a feeling. A peninsula where the sunsets take your breath away, the water feels like home, and the small-town charm stays with you long after you leave. The magic of this place has been woven into the fabric of my family for generations. I’ve been vacationing here since I was a baby, my dad spent his summers in Door County in the 70s/80s, and it was here that he proposed to my mom.

But my story isn’t unique. Whether you grew up on the peninsula or you’ve simply vacationed here, you know that Door County’s beauty has a way of making you feel at home, no matter where you're from.

Door County has always been a place that inspires a deep sense of belonging and connection. With that in mind, I set out to create a brand that captures the heart of this special peninsula. I wanted to design a logo that people could proudly wear – a symbol for those who love this place, where you don’t just visit, you belong.
